Our last walk of the year was around Farmoor Reservoir on Friday 27th December - its a bit of a trek to get there but once you are there, its a nice, level, flat 3 miles around the fully paved perimeter path, with the option of a shorter option via the causeway, which makes the walk a little over 2 miles in total.

Just 7 of us! The weather lived up to the forecast, 7C and a light breeze, so while it was chilly it was not too bad.

Of course Farmoor has the Oxfordshire Sailing Club and its wonderful cafe there, so we finished there for Coffee, cake, bacon baps, and sausage rolls.

The Long Walks Group will continue next year, on alternate Friday mornings, with the route and rendezvous being circulated to the u3a members by email.
