There are two distinct Board Games groups.  Board Games Two meets on the 1st and 4th Thursday of the month.Members of either group who are able to attend any other than their normal group meeting the same month may do so if invited to join it by the group leader. In this way all meetings are being kept to a maximum of six players and some members may get the opportunity to attend two meetings within a short time scale. This flexibility is extremely beneficial when members are learning new and more complicated games, it allows members a greater chance of attending once a month when they find they have conflicting commitments and it allows the group leader to organise some meetings to play specific games. At all meetings members play games from a sizeable list of some 24 games many of which are tile or card games rather than board ones. Games are for differing numbers of players: several can be played by two to six persons, others only by two to four, and some can be played by more than six.
