The shorter walks on 2nd May enjoyed an hour's walk in Wytham woods . We saw the bluebells but also numerous wild flowers along side the paths.

We were struck by a profusion  of May blossom and also the amount of felling of ash due to ash due back. A notice on the logs promised young trees will be planted in the autumn. This is where the photo is taken.
