It was a lovely morning for a walk, and as always the Blenheim Park provided a great place; we rendezvous'd at the Oxford Museum, and then strode out to Footpath Entrance (the Green Gate) to Blenhiem Footpath Entrance, opposite the Water Meadows, and so into Blenheim Park itself.
We followed a circular path that skirted the lake towards 'Vanburgh' s Grand Bridge, then past the Carved Oak Bench (we stopped to admire it and catch our breath) and then south to the Bridge over the River Glyme.
Then back past the Walled Garden, the front of the Palace and out through the Arched gate back into Woodstock and the Museum, for a well earned coffee (tea, etc) and yet more chat!
9 of us, doing 5 miles what a great way to spend a morning a bright, sunny, autumn morning
